Gifts for Teen Girls, From a Teen Girl
I’ve been told that teenage girls can be the hardest to shop for (second to dads, of course). Here are five gifts that I, as a teen girl myself, guarantee that we will love.
1. Beats Pill Speaker
I use this virtually everyday. It’s great for carrying on the bus to sports games or for solo dance parties in your room. While on the pricier side, from experience I can tell you that a speaker is one of those things you don’t want to skimp on. This speaker will last your teenager years and provide music that is great quality and loud enough to get the siblings knocking.
2. Jewelry from Etsy
If your teenager loves jewelry, Etsy is the perfect place to find pieces she’ll wear everyday while also supporting small business. Almost every kind of jewelry can be found on there, but here are some of my favorite pieces I wear daily that I love and always receive compliments on.
3. Herbivore Coco Rose Exfoliating Body Scrub
This body scrub is just heavenly. Enriched with coconut oil and just the right amount of grit to make your skin feel cleansed and smooth, this is a must have if not for the teenage girl in your life, for yourself!
4. Plants/succulents
An essential (in my opinion) for every teen girl’s room. Succulents are adorable tiny plants that can be arranged in all sorts of configurations and require little care. They are, literally, a gift that keeps on giving. Find them at any plant store for anywhere from $15-$25 per plant.
5. Her next favorite book!
Refer to the “Ava’s Book Club” tab above to find her a great read. Additionally, I love perusing Reese Witherspoon’s Book Club or Oprah Winfrey’s Book Club for ideas:).
Hopefully, this article eased some gift-giving angst and the teenage girl in you life enjoys every present she receives. Happy shopping!
